Problem | Possible Cause & Solution |
Operator Interface (Control Panel) Shows "Micrologic DF-1 Attempting Link" and scale will not enter run mode. (Applies to F-99) |
Control wires may be loose or PLC may be faulted. Solution: Unplug scale. Open control cabinet. Check connection of gray wire that connects the Operator Interface to the PLC. If connection is tight, then plug scale in and check LED (indicator lights on PLC). POWER and RUN lights should both be "on" and green. Fault Light should be "off". If Fault Light is "on" and red, try the following two-part process to return the PLC to RUN mode: Part 1: (Clear fault) Press: MENU Press: MODE (disregard "Access Denied" message) Press: [Contact Factory for your Passcode] (ENTER) Press: 3 Press: 4 Press: 1 Press: MENU Part 2: (Run mode) Press: MENU Press: MODE Press: [Contact Factory for your Passcode] (ENTER) Press: 3 Press: 2 Press: 1 Press: MENU
This should return the PLC to RUN mode, assuming nothing is actually broken... |
